Eritrean Parents Liaison Counsel

The Eritrean Parents Liaison Council was established after a model was developed to facilitate the integration of newcomer African parents and their children, particularly of those of the Somali and Eritrean origin. EPLC was registered as a not-for-profit organization in 2006.

Our vision

The Eritrean Parents Liaison Council Vision is to be “A centre of excellence in comprehensive parenting, settlement and education support services and resources to parents and their children in the Greater Toronto Area”.

Our story

We provide parenting services and support through workshops, courses and parent engagement resources to help build student success to parents and guardians across the GTA.

Our mission

The Eritrean Parents Liaison Council is a community based non-profit organization in the greater Toronto area that strives to provide crucial support to Canadians of Eritrean descent living in the GTA as well as newly arriving Eritreans through services and education to overcome settlement obstacles and facilitate their successful integration into Canadian society as proud and productive citizens.
